Hoose stuff

We went down to Newcastle yesterday to sign the lease for the house. Unfortunately we needed to go and come back on the same day, so that was nearly 4 hours there and 3 1/2 back with only a couple of hours stop when we got there. Not too fun.

However, we not only signed the lease, we got the keys too. Went to have another look round now that the owners have left and gotten rid of all their stuff, and it's much nicer second time round. They kindly left the wendy house in the garden, which is great. It's built out of wood and quite big, so we're going to use it as a big dog kennel!

The walk-in closet in the master bedroom is huge, meaning that today, when we went to order furniture, we only needed minimal amounts for the bedroom. We've ordered a really nice queen bed, a bedside table each and a nice comfy mattress. Then for the living room we've ordered a corner sofa and ottoman. We've gone for stuff that's a bit more expensive, but it's good stuff that will last.

Before or when we move in we'll need to sort out a TV/Entertainment unit, but that's it furniture wise for now. We will however need appliance. Washing machine, TV. There's a dodgy old fridge there in the garage atm, so a fridge isn't urgent, but we will want one sometime in the not-too-distant future.
